Mosaic Award

Mosaic is the art of creating images of small pieces of glass or other materials. Our mosaic awards are designed to evoke the feelings of excitement and energy with multiple layers of varying glass colors. Starfire crystal is surrounded by layers of glass. The front holds a light glass color, affixed to the side of the crystal. The back holds a darker color which glows through the lighter color giving rich dimension and spectral color combinations. The crystal is mounted to a polished aluminum base with brushed sides. The mirror-like finish of the base reflects the mosaic pattern into the base.
